The Health Professional Student Association (HPSA), which publishes the Student Doctor Network, is launching a Student Advisory Council. The Student Advisory Council (SAC) will provide a student voice to the HPSA board and management and ensure that HPSA activities and programs offer the best possible support to all students.
“Our focus is students, so we want to have a formal structure for undergraduate and graduate students to provide input on the projects we complete,” said Laura Turner, HPSA Executive Director. “This will provide students with a volunteer opportunity as well as help us determine how to best support students.”
Applying to the Student Advisory Council
Current undergraduate and graduate students can join the SAC for a one-year term and reapply until they have completed their education. To apply, students can send their resume and a cover letter explaining why they want to join to [email protected]. Applications will be accepted from February 1 through March 31, 2021.
